Hi, I read in "Tired Thyroxine' that NDT has too much T3 relative to T4. . . that some people benefit from taking a mixture of NDT and T4. Has anyone come across this idea and tried mixing NDT and Levothyroxine and if so in what proportion please?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Or you could type your results with reference ranges.
People say that to put you off NDT - it's one of the arguments doctors use. But, it's silly, because a good deal of T3, even with NDT, comes from conversion. And, excess T4 is excreted. You need to concentrate on your personal needs, and not take any notice of such unfounded generalisations.
