Hi there, I’m having private blood test this morning and haven’t eaten since last eve but can I drink water?

If you are doing the finger prick test make sure you do some star jumps ⭐️ before or take a hot shower... I had difficultly with my blood congealing too quickly. But the result did come back fine.

Haha. Thank you! I’m getting blood drawn as was worried I’d find it tricky. Thanks for tip though. May do finger prick next time.

Yes - do. You do not want to be dehydrated. But you don't want to drink three litres! :-)

Thank you. I’ve had a glass. Also I’m following advice and not eating. Will this make me look more hypo on results? I used to be on 175mcg of levo but at the moment I’m on 150 and feel better but have the feeling I’m under medicated.

There is much uncertainty about fasting - but there will soon be some additional information available from good sources.

I do fast - but largely because it ensures consistency.
