Little over a week before my Endocrinology appointment I haven't had health insurance since November of 2017 I've had to switch amongst the leftover medications that I've had over the last 4 months switching from one brand unithroid to 2 different levothyroxine generic brands I've developed joint pain and lower leg swelling was just wondering if anybody had any ideas on why this is happening the doses are exactly the same

Well, I think you'll find that Unithroid is actually sold as Lannett! So if one of the "generic" products is Lannett, try sticking to that. If not, try getting it. Perhaps someone in the USA can help with where to go? I think Walgreens carry Lannett.

Yes - many people are unhappy with some makes but fine on others. Once you find one that is OK, try to stick with it.

I,looked up same manufacturer. The only reason I've had to switch is no health insurance and the USA doctors WON'T refill without appt and it is costly, do I was taking what I had since I have no thyroid. I'm hopeful that my new doctor helps me. Thank you for listening.
