I had hair loss following pregnancy - another time of life when hormone levels drop suddenly. I don’t know the mechanism.

I would have your Iron /ferritin levels checked. Low iron levels can cause hair loss .

Thanks! Iron/ferritin is a never-ending story with me...I have been on prescription iron for years but it does not seem to get my levels up where they should be...
