So fed up of medicine making me skin and bones.i feel worse with levothyroxine and want a medicine change .doctor isnt listening

I'm sorry you are feeling so fed up. It is rare to find a Dr who will listen properly & treat properly to meet our thyroid needs, you have come to the right place where people will listen & help.

The first step would be to post any thyroid results you have with their ranges.

Ranges help determine how much/if any hormone increase/decrease your body needs.

If you have tests for vitamin & mineral levels then post these too, along with ranges.

If you have no results phone your GP & remember under the Data Protection Act you ARE legally entitled to a copy of your results.

A printed copy is best since being verbally told can lead to mistakes.
