I don't know about Hashi's, but the resulting hypothyroidism can cause pain just about everywhere. Certainly lower back pain is a symptoms of low thyroid. What sort of stomach pain do you have? It could be low stomach acid - caused by low T3 - is making digestion difficult and causing pain. So, yes, that would be indirectly a result of having Hashi's.

Gluten and or dairy intolerance are much more common with Hashimoto's

Bloating and stomach pain may be due to either gluten or dairy. Gluten is the more likely

Hashimoto's affects the gut and often leads to low stomach acid and then low vitamin levels

Low vitamin levels affect Thyroid hormone working

Poor gut function can lead leaky gut (literally holes in gut wall) this can cause food intolerances. Most common by far is gluten. Dairy is second most common.

According to Izabella Wentz the Thyroid Pharmacist approx 5% with Hashimoto's are coeliac, but over 80% find gluten free diet helps significantly. Either due to direct gluten intolerance (no test available) or due to leaky gut and gluten causing molecular mimicry (see Amy Myers link)

Changing to a strictly gluten free diet may help reduce symptoms, help gut heal and slowly lower TPO antibodies

Ideally ask GP for coeliac blood test first

Are you still only on 25mcg Levothyroxine? Can you add your most recent blood test results for TSH, FT3, FT4 plus vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Sharp needle like pain either side in lower back can be related to adrenals
