Hi Guys,

Can anyone help me understand my vitamin D levels? Good, bad or ugly? I don't seem to be able to understand this result. Thank you in anticipation!

The Vit D Council recommends a level of 100-150nmol so yours is almost there. Do you take D3 supplement?

At you also taking D3's important cofactors Vit K2-mk7 and magnesium?

vitamindcouncil.org/about-v...

D3 aids absorption of calcium from food and K2-mk7 directs the calcium to bones and teeth where it is needed and away from arteries and soft tissue where it can be deposited and cause problems. Magnesium helps the body use D3.

Unfortunately, I only recently learned about K2 ((((( I am now taking it but started fairly recently. The doctor who told me to take vit d never mentioned K2. I take magnesium from time to time though.

Doctors are remarkably ignorant about vitamins and minerals.

If you are taking D3 you need to take magnesium as often as you take D3, as I said it helps your body to use the D3.

Thanks so much, SeasideSusie, for taking time to reply. Now I know about magnesium, I will always take it when taking vit d. And of course k2.
