Are you taking calcium because you were deficient ? Are you taking into account dietary calcium ? Your calcium level may be to high.

I had this, and it cleared up when I started taking selenium with vitamin e in the morning x

Did your doctor prescribe calcium and have you had your vitamin D levels checked? No, it's not normal to have cramps and bone ache and I would ask your doctor to investigate it.

"You should not ever take calcium "

Not strictly true, if there is a calcium deficiency then supplements are needed.

Have you actually been tested and had a fusgnoses of low calcium or are you presuming you are low because you don't take dairy?

Fillers in thyroid meds can make a very big difference between feeling well or not .

GREAT ADVICE !

People who have had thyroidectomy often need calcium. Calcium deficiency does not always show in blood tests. Some women need calcium supplementation at menopause if they do not absorb or metabolise it due to hormonal changes so medical advice is required alongside checking vitamin D levels. Magnesium and calcium compete so they should be taken at different times, that includes dietary calcium.

Hi reallyfedup,

Sorry to butt into this post, but, my boron has arrived today, I’ve already got cod liver oil,

just checking how much magnesium glycinate would you recommend a day?

I’ve looked at some and they are 100mg, where as some are 400mg?.

Is there a supplier you recommend?

Best wishes
