Thanks for posting as many new members will not have seen this important video. Many will have also gone through a similar experience.

Yes I found it helpful too. My fatigue is so awful at the moment. It’s reassuring to know how the lady describes it because it is so debilitating! Wish they would show it on tv again! X

That would be good.

She couldn't take Thyroxine but they didn't say what she was on now, presumably T3. Hope she's better.

Chippysue might wish to answer that herself. :-)

My story and updates are posted on here, I think you can find them if you click my name? I finally tolerated purified levothyroxine which is hand made by Martindales and is prescribed by my GP, although expensive, very expensive. I also purchase my own NDT as I take 1 grain per day as well as 225mcgs of purified levo. My TSH has been suppressed since 2010 and frankly I don't care. My Free T4 is usually at the top of the lab range and my Free T3 just under the top of the lab range. My B12 is at the top(it was 289) (I take Jarrow's sublingual B12) my Vitamin D is around 100 (it was 19 when I was ill) and I take vitamin D drops. I supplement with magnesium, vitamin c, selenium, B vits, iodine drops, magnesium oil, omega 3. I make my own sauerkraut, drink green tea. Since being gluten and dairy free I feel even better, exercise most days, eat an organic and clean diet.

Since running the midlands thyroid support group I have learnt so much from everyone. We are all so so different, if only doctors realised this! It has taken me years to finally take notice and ditch gluten and dairy. I have watched hundreds of hours of functional medical doctors in documentaries. Read dozens of books and the conclusion is that it's not about finding the right doctor to prescribe the right pill at the right dose. It's about finding the root cause - and there are many of them that has caused our thyroid to give up, or other autoimmune diseases, they were going wrong around 7 years before symptoms started.

We CAN take our health into our own hands and we can get better! Our bodies are designed to be well, they want to be well but today's toxic world and stress knock us off balance.
