Hypothyroid, newly diagnosed Hashi, switched to Levothyroxine 50mcg & Liothyronine 5mcg(3x’s week). Major lifestyle changes too. Last labs: Free T3- 2.3, Free T4- 1.4, TSH .78, Antibodies 98. My Dr told me might need to adjust meds but can’t remember which one ..BRAIN FOG!!! Also have had irritated thyroid, cough, cold but warming up. Was told could be going hyper which I’ve never experienced. Any input on adjusting meds?

Kayaker5,
There's no point in taking 3 x 5mcg T3 per week. Each dose will be out of your blood within 6 hours. T3 needs to be taken daily at the very least.
Can you include the lab ref ranges for FT4 and FT3? TSH 0.78 is low-normal but without the lab ref ranges the T4 and T3 results are meaningless. Hard to believe you can be overmedicated with TSH 0.78.
T4 - .7-1.6. T3 - 2.3-4.2
I agree on hyper as I still had hypo symptoms but was losing weight rapidly which could be major diet changes. Thanks for your input. So should I try 1/2 a Liothyronine 2x’s day everyday?? Dr told me might need to mess w/meds I just can’t temember where she said to start. Should I leave Levo alone for now? I take Liothyronine at night because it knocks me out can’t stay awake
Kayaker5,
T4 is just over 75% through range, FT3 is bottom of range and TSH 0.78 is well within range. There's absolutely no indication of overmedication or going 'hyper'. I would increase T3 dose to 10mcg daily divided into 2 x 5mcg doses if you have sufficient tablets.
