Amy ~ the symptoms of thyroid disorders are very wide ranging, and can cause great anxiety, worry and depression. This is in addition, and sometimes because of, the horrible physical symptoms. It can cause your adrenals to become unbalanced until you are optimally medicated ~ this in itself will add to your anxiety and panic. By your own admission you recognise that you have a tendency to be a bit of a hypochondriac, so you acknowledge that may be compounding the stress you are feeling. It's a good start that you are aware of this in yourself and brave of you to admit it.πŸ‘

The other side of the coin is that stress is not good for thyroid conditions, and it will impact further on your health. I say this from personal experience ~ it's a common problem. You will end up in a vicious circle of stress and illness and it will slow your recovery. 🐒 So please try as hard as you can not to worry too much ~ I know this is very difficult when you feel so ill with all the strange and debilitating symptoms, but try to stay as calm as possible ~ it will help you. πŸ’•

You will get excellent advice on this forum, and you will get better ~ so try and keep this in the front of your mind. Most people on here have suffered in the same way, and some still are, but you must never lose hope ~ it takes time to get everything sorted out and that requires patience ~ you will get there in the end, don't worry.🌟

Did you look on the PAS forum as clutter suggested? Try and focus on reading around the forum to see if you can find some explanations for your symptoms ~ you will see that others have the same problems and you will also see that many are recovered and now well. Your depression and anxiety will lift as you recover, you'll see 😊. Goo. xxxxx xXx.
