Hi all. Just wanted to share this interesting article. As someone with Graves and personally having experienced the frightening effects of chronic stress, I'll say this article pretty much tells it as it is-

I wish I knew things like that when I first found out I had graves. The useless docs I saw never advised anything useful except to herd and threaten me into getting an RAI.

Because I never got the info I needed from these so-called doctors, my body developed certain conditions as a result and though my graves is euthyroid, I am unable to live normally now.

A word to the wise- for anyone who's just been diagnosed, u MUST do your own research and dig deep to understand the condition because sadly, u are more than likely to meet a doctor who doesn't tell u what u need to know to be well : (
