Just want to check if waiting 24 hours after taking my NDT is the accurate way of doing the blood test? I take NDT all in one go in the morning, no splitting.

Thank you

24 hours is for Levo. For NDT it's 12 hours as it contains T3.

Thank you. So I did wrong then. Twice. 12 hours would mean taking blood in the evening. Would that be ok?

You can take it in the evening or after the blood test.

I see. So take the NDT in the evening and do the blood test in the morning. Honestly all those blood test are doing is stressing me out. I raised the dose and my t4 dropped even more - 10.3 now and t3 has barely moved from 3.84 to 3.86. Might be cos I left 24 hours gap. But still where are all those hormones going if they are not showing in my blood? They make me feel amazing but refuse to show up on the blood test :)

If you have the blood test late in the day, you wouldn't be able to fast all day. I, too, have left 24 hours after the last dose of NDT on my recent blood test - how would this affect the result?

If you leave 24 hours you will get a false low FT3. Because NDT contains T3 then no longer than 12 hours between last dose and blood draw, adjust timing of dose the day before your test.

Best to take blood on the morning. Just alter the time you take your NDT the day before, this is what I do as I take a combination of Levo and T3.

OK will do. I was wondering why my t3 is so low and barely moving despite dose increase and feeling million times better. Thanks.
