Assuming you have a prescription...?

Potentially, any pharmacy in the whole UK.

Thyroid UK lists a few that are known to be able to supply:

thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/treatm...

Check price before ordering - this can vary significantly.

Welcome to the forum, Rockingdog54.

You will require a prescription to buy Armour in the UK. NDT isnt licensed for UK use so most people have a private prescription or buy online and self medicate.

If you want advice on where to buy Armour Write a post asking for feedback to be sent to you via private messages. Members are more inclined to share sources with new members who include some background about their illness such as how long they’ve been diagnosed, recent thyroid results and ranges, and current thyroid medication.

Armour is the most expensive NDT. You might want to consider one of the other brands or Thai NDT if you don't already take Armour.

Rockingdog54,

It will depend on how much NDT you need. What dose Levothyroxine do you take?

What is your TSH result and range and the T4 range?

I take 150mcg used to take 175 they lowered it to 150 as blood reading was 0.6 it is always 0. Something having it checked again monday but they always say in range

Rockingdog54,

If you're going to self medicate, on top of the cost of NDT, you will also need to pay for private blood tests every 6-8 weeks while you transition. If by 0.6 you mean the TSH, it is likely to be low because >145mcg is a suppressive dose.

TSH, FT4 and FT3 are the blood tests you will require via thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...

I'll send you a private message so you can estimate cost of NDT. I estimate you'll need 2.5 - 3 grains (150mg - 180mg) if you are optimally dosed on 150-175mcg Levothyroxine.

If you write a post with your new results next week I can guide you how to transition from Levothyroxine to NDT if you decide to go ahead.
