Here are my recent blood results, doctor says they are normal - your thoughts please:-
Serum Ferritin - 34 (10 - 291)
Serum B12 - 249 (160 - 1000)
Serum folate - 5.2 (3.0 - 20.0)
I have tingling in my feet, bad tinnitus, swollen tongue and inside of my cheeks are sore, also a lot of adominal discomfort. Haven't been back as doc say everything is fine

Your GP says they are normal because they are in range and he wont prescribe anything for those levels.
However, normal isn't optimal
FERRITIN needs to be at least 70 for thyroid hormone to work (our own as well as replacement). You can help raise ferritin by eating liver regularly, no more than 200g per week. Include other iron rich foods too apjcn.nhri.org.tw/server/in...
B12 should be at least 500, preferably top of range. Do you have any signs of B12 Deficiency b12deficiency.info/signs-an... If so you should post on the Pernicious Anaemia Society forum for further advice healthunlocked.com/pasoc If not you could supplement with sublingual methylcobalamin lozenges.
FOLATE should be at least half way through it's range. Eating leafy greens provides folate and supplementing with a good B Complex containing 400mcg methylfolate will help raise it (eg Thorne Basic B). If you supplement with B12 you need a B Complex to balance all the B vitamins.
