It means your thread is only visible to members of this particular thyroid forum. Even if they follow other Health Unlocked forums, they would need to be a follower of this forum to read your complete thread.
You have to find your maintenance dose by trial and error. What is your current level of Vit D?

Have I misunderstood? Do you mean when you write a post to start a new thread?
gcart. I get confused about the followers and how to find people to post messages to them and stuff. All I know about your followers is that I am one of them. The vitamin D council recommends 5,000 iu a day to maintain vit d status in northern hemisphere. It is also recommended by them that you take vitamin K2 along side. Better4u do a stray and nutri do drops containing both.
My vit D level was 9 and my endo prescribed vitamin D3 drops 20,000 i.u once a week. He set the minimum target at 100 nnomols. Hope that helps. Once at target a maintenance dose is set .
1,000iu is 25mcg. It should maintain vitD around 76. Personally I would want vitD 100-150 and if you want to do that you need to increase to 3,000iu for 6 weeks then reduce to 1,000iu daily.
