Interesting question asked - parliament.uk/business/publ... Something Thyroid UK wants to know the answer to. The Regional Medicines Optimisation Committee South discussed at their meeting in January - awaiting minutes - sps.nhs.uk/networks/regiona... Seem to be part of the Specialist Pharmacy Service? Next meeting is 3rd May. Might be useful if patients contacted them? If only there were contact details for them.

Most patients just don't get referral back to endocrinologist. Just a letter in post saying Liothyronine is withdrawn and often no increase in Levothyroxine to compensate either
Whole situation is totally unacceptable.
Interestingly, having been referred to an endo & seen him 4 times, despite me giving my GP a copy of his notes with blood test results etc, these are not on my records! So its a waste of money it seems anyway!
Thanks for posting Lyn, seems like the usual non informative NHS waffle to me!
