I’m really struggling. Could really do with some advice! Since being diagnosed with under active thyroid (tsh was 75 and t4 was 1) I have had a hole host of symptoms! The worst being anxiety, panic attacks and psychosis. All of my symptoms have calmed way down since I started on 100mg levothyroxine at the start of December! There is one thing that I still seem to be experiencing tho, when I go to bed at night my legs/feet get a weird sensation. It’s like skin crawling/like being touched! When it happens it makes me extremely anxious, it freaks me out as it’s the most peculiar feeling. I’ve asked for help on the hypothyroidism uk page but people just say ‘this has nothing to do with hypothyroid! Well I beg to differ! This only started when my hypo was discovered. Anyone any ideas what it is that’s happening to me?

Probably low B12. Best to get vit B12, folate, vit D and ferritin tested when you can. Being hypo can cause these to be low.

Lots of good suggestions in your post/thread of 21 days ago
I have just posted a film - Could it Be B12 ? Check out your news feed and watch - only 80 minutes long ....
The crawling sensation that feels like something is crawling around under your skin is called formication. It's horrid when you get it in the legs because it makes you kick out and makes falling asleep difficult.
I had it as part of a collection of weird symptoms whilst I was being titrated for my ideal levo dose. You have had a high TSH so it's a strong possibility that you will need an increse in levo when you get your blood results back as you are still symtomatic. It also seems to tie in with the weird "buzzing" that some people get and restless legs.
