Hi have been told to stop my cabrimazole for week before blood tests as my white blood cells are too low this gives me panic attacks anyone

Carbimazole can lower white blood cells which fight infection so your GP needs you to stop taking Carbimazole for a week to allow the white blood cells to recover to fight whatever infection you have.
