ive just found an old bottle of b complex i was taking ages ago

BBE date is 09/17

would they be ok to use or should i just buy more

Best Before, not Use By, no reason you can't use them. I use stuff that's gone past the Best Before date.

BBE just means that it is best before the date shown. Quality may lessen. A classic example is crisp, they taste slightly stale after the BBE date. Use by is a completely different thing. Use by the date shown as it usually means it contains something that turns poisonous as it has less preservatives which will make you ill. Like milk or fresh meat, etc.

i have T3 here thats out of date but i may need to use that as my full dose of thyroxine (150) makes me feel off yet 100/150 alternate days im ok but my TSH is too high so need to increase so might hunt out the t3 and see how i go

I would check your patient leaflet on T3 Mandy as mine says not to use after expiry date.I stopped using mine ,but fortunately when I told my pharmacist and picked up my new prescription he had changed it to Morningside T3 which is a new to me.......expiry 2019.

Vitmans/minerals keep extremely well for many years, more or less indefinitely if jar/pack is properly sealed and not left open to the air. For optimal storage just keep in a cool, dry, darkish place. Cheers, Maje
