These are Sodium Monosulphite FREE, hence they will NOT harm you if you are gluten/wheat intolerant, as this ghastly preservative provokes an auto immune mast cell granulation reaction, releasing huge amounts of histamine throughout the body which causes us all yet more inflammation!
So eat with confidence!
Excellent for coconut oil stir-fry, using garlic, fresh chopped ginger, bright red carrots, bright red peppers, red onions and Basmati rice from the foothills of the Himalayas, which is the least heavy metal polluted. So it's a win-win as The Broken Brain Docu-series would advise for Omega 3 Long chain fats in the prawns and all those flavonoids in the bright vegetables!

Im confuded i thought prawns were gluten free?? Or is it something that goes into them?? Im gf and soya free as im celiac, dont eat them often but i did not know they contain gluten??
But if you are Coeliac as I am, with the allergic response provided by such aggressors as wheat, gluten, soya, and cow dairy, the likelihood is that Sodium Monosulphite will equally provoke the same response- it does in me.
The preservative Sodium Monosulphite gets used in so many foods, including commercially mass produced red wine, balsamic and Prosecco to name but a few. This preservative provokes a similar allergic response, as it provokes the Mast Cells of the immune system to granulate, dispersing huge amounts of histamine through the body, which provokes an inflammatory response.
For me the response is identical to a gluten reaction.
Organic wines and organic balsamic vinegar do NOT contain this ghastly Sodium Monosulphite, so they are safe to eat- as indeed are these prawns.
I discovered all this by my own unfortunate experience.
