Antihistamine & T3?

If I take T3 first thing in the morning when should I take an antihistamine and how would it help? As I hear it can with fillers and also with food intolerances so I’d like to introduce it into my diet

MissFG,

What allergies are you experiencing?

Lots I’m reacting to a lot of foods so doing a private test plus asking gp to test for things like Candida and crohns. Realised that taking my diet to the very basics has helped but still reacting so trying to eliminate what I can

MissFG,

Yes, but are the reactions allegic ie you come up in a rash or can't breathe after eating certain foods?

No all stomach issues. It worries me as my grandad and his relatives died of intestinal and stomach cancer so I know it’s a genetic weakness in my family also affecting my mum and sister.

I just wanted to know if antihistamines would help?

MissFG,

Then it's not an allergic reaction so you don't need an antistamine.

An intolerance can be just as bad. I may not test positive for coeliac but we can’t eat gluten or grains.

What benefits are there to taking an antihistamine as I’ve seen ppl comment it can also help with fillers in medication?

MissFG,

If you have an allergic reaction to one or more of the fillers in Liothyronine or other medication taking an antistamine an hour before may dampen the allergic reaction.

MissFG,

If you have an intolerance to a food that is not the same as having an allergic reaction to it. Taking an antihistamine won't help anyone tolerate gluten or grains which they have a sensitivity to.

I’ve just been looking into histermine intolerance which is related to gut health. I’m taking apple cider vinegar and now probiotics to see if they’ll help. But it also says that too many histermines can be produced from cutting out food items such as gluten and grains. And therefore histermine intolerance is closely related to leaky gut.

I don’t wish to reintroduce these items just to see if there are other things I could try that could help my overall health
