A popliteal artery runs behind each knee (cap). Are you feeling knee pulses elsewhere?
You might want to add all your last thyroid blood test results and vitamin levels so people can advise better?
Hi everyone I'm New to this forum .Four years ago I was told I had neuropathy in my left calf and foot. After tests at the vascular clinic no blockages were found what was found after having nerve conduction test was mild neuropathy my GP told me to accept this was the cause of the pain so I've accepted it for all this time.I've been in considerable pain.A few months ago I was referred to a podiatrist for an in growing toenail, she checked the pulses in my leg and said she was very concerned as couldn't find much of a pulse she wrote to my GP and asked him to refer me to the vascular clinic which he did reluctantly. The ultra sound confirmed a blockage of the popliteal artery and I'm now waiting for a c t scan I'm terrified at what damage has caused by my doctors reluctance to consider any other cause of my pain. So get it checked out Rhondi.
Good luck.
