I have recently realised there is a good chance I have never been on a large enough dose of T3 only & have increased up to 50mcg a day. I have been taking 2 x 25mcg of Cynomel a day which I bought from abroad.
I have found myself now being prescribed 35mcg a day of Mercury Pharma Liothyronine (T3) (40/30mcg alternate days) by the NHS & consider myself very fortunate.
I therefore have two different makes of T3 in my cupboard. I need to use the Mercury Pharma but not sure how to use both makes. Rotate monthly? Or another plan?

I have 2 brands of T3 (self sourced Unipharma and Grossman Cynomel). I have found one stronger than the other. I tried alternating daily but it didn't seem to suit me so I have been using just one brand for a few weeks to try and find the right dose for that brand. After my next blood test I will be using the other brand on it's own to see what difference it makes.
I'm not sure alternating 40/30mcg doses is the best idea, due to T3 being quick acting In would have thought 35mcg daily would be better.
I have been taking the same dose every day. I have never taken 40/30mcg on alternate days as endo wanted. I am constantly taking 50mcg a day. But it's whether I can mix the two brands on a daily or weekly basis.
