Help which chemist can supply t3 Mercury Pharma?

I have been on t3 Mercury Pharma for over 20 years. The warehouse tell the chemist that they are out of stock. The supplier said that they have supplied the warehouse with new stock July 2nd and July 3rd with an expiry date June 21.

I have my repeat prescription.

What do I do?

I assume you mean you have been in contact with Advanz (Mercury Pharma)?

If so, about all you can do is go round pharmacy after pharmacy until you find one that takes your request seriously and is able to supply.

Might help if you know which distributor's warehouse has been supplied. For example, AAH are part of the same group as Lloyds, so they might be better able to help. Similarly, Alliance and Boots.

Thank you so much for speedy response.

I have been in touch with mercury pharma who has been most helpful.

My Lloyds Pharmacy said that AAH unfortunately was out of stock.

I got in touch with mercury pharma

who said that's strange because they had sent two lots of t3 mercury pharma

to AAD , one on 2nd July and one on 3rd July.

I called AAH who were reluctant to talk to a private person but I explained the situation and they asked for the phone number and postcode of my lloyds Chemist. When I called the Chemist AAD had told them again that they were out of stock. I got in touch with mercury in London again and gave them the phone number to AAD and they said they would send a new lot of tables to them.. . . soo now we will see what happens next.

I may ask my mp to help me out.

I had the same trouble, not one chemist where I live can get Mercury Pharma apparently!! I ran out and got really poorly because I was undermedicated. The only place I can get them is from the hospital pharmacy. My endo made them deliver me 3 months worth over lockdown. I had stopped taking them to see if I could manage without but still feeling crap. Just worried if I start them again i might not be able to get them again! Its a nightmare. Good luck.

Hi Kissemiss I use Boots. Couple of months ago i was told MP is out of stock. I called Mercury Customer service they said it's not true. So I contacted the Manager of Pharmacy at Boots and explained, she sorted it for me. Though there is a note on their computer but some assistants try to push Teva. Don't give up Good luck.

Unfortunately, people have to do this - ring people up.

I can see that things are not as straightforward as we might wish, but I cannot see why it has to be so difficult for so many.

Very often, provided the product does actually exist somewhere, it can be sorted. But why does it take quite so much effort to get there?

Also, this is something that you really have to do yourselves. In order to get it resolved, you will need to discuss the branch, the prescription, maybe supply your personal details.

You see my argument is that it doesn't cost the pharmacy anything, unless they get a incentive for pushing different product.

I have been given Mercury Pharma cos my Chemist can’t get Wockhardt ! However they are getting some for me. I stopped using any of the big chemists and found an independent one who goes the extra mile to help.

I too get mine from Boots.

How odd is that. I was actually dispensed Mercury Pharma 3 days ago from my independent pharmacy. I have had this brand lots of times before lockdown but since March 2020 I have had a different brand each time. Ring around until you get the medication you require. Good Luck

Hi I had the same trouble ...rang all the chemists to no avail and then the local Tesco pharmacy as a last resort who said no problem we stock that! What a relief and they have supplied it without a hitch for last 9 months.
