Help address, telephone number of a Dr Holitic/ integrated Medicine who can prescribe WP THYROID

Please can someone give the address of a Doctor holistic or integrative medicine who have prescribe you " WP THYROID " in London or Surrey and the good result(s) or symptom(s) it give you .

I have Hypothyroidism for more than 20 years have been on thyroxine with no improvement of my symptoms, none and now on LEVOTHYROXIN for ? and with terrible side effects : excruciating headaches from when I wake up in the morning to night with lots of pain in my neck and shoulder ( right side?) joints pain, cramp in calves during the night (not often), bloating ( all the time like 8 month pregnant !) I buy either pregnancy dresses or 2/3 size up, never hungry but weight gain, pain in throat (as I have sore throat), dry mouth, loose hair......

I only realise recently after watching on French television a program who show a very famous actress giving interviews to the media complaining about LEVOTHYROXIN and terrible side effects and got an interview with the French Minister for Health which in view of so many women complains had stop the distribution of LEVOTHYROXIN in France as it has been in Holland, Germany and apparently the USA.

And I understood then that all my health discomfort / problems were the side effects of LEVOTHYROXIN .

I want to stop completely taking them and go the route of Natural a Thyroid hormones, Homeopathy and integrated Medicine.

If he has done, I do wish they'd do the same in the UK, except of course for those who seem to be well on levo. We all should have an opportunity to try alternatives.

Alternative brands are: Armour, NatureThroid, Acella NP and Erfa.

Merck reformulated Levothyrox the Levothyroxine available in France and it caused a lot of upset and illness. There is information in this link healthunlocked.com/search/l...

Before deciding that all your health problems are down to Levothyroxine you should check whether you are optimally dosed. If you post your recent TSH, FT4 and FT3 results and ranges I will advise.

If you are optimally dosed then you might try an alternative brand of Levothyroxine to see whether symptoms improve. The 4 brands available in the UK are Mercury Pharma, Actavis (also known as Almus and NorthStarr), Wockhardt and Teva.
