Sotonowl,
TSH 3.48 indicates your thyroid is struggling but NHS won't usually diagnose hypothyroidism until TSH is over range or FT4 <7.70.
Supplementing 100-200mcg selenium daily may delay progression to hypothyroidism.

Thanks for that. I'm just in the process of getting my b12 on track, had my first injection today and i'm also on cultism vitamin d 20000 iu twice a week. I'll look into the selenium, thanks again.
For full evaluation you ideally need TSH, FT4, FT3, TT4, TPO and TG antibodies, plus vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested
The fact you are low in vitamin D and B12 then you have some reason for poor gut absorption and that may be linked to hypothyroidism
Essential to test thyroid antibodies and ferritin and folate
See if you can get full thyroid and vitamin testing from GP. Unlikely to get FT3
Private tests are available

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.
All thyroid tests should be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. This gives highest TSH and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)
