Hello, Im new here. I have been suffering and am a shadow of my former self. I have hypothyroidism for 11 years and my symptoms are back really bad. I am hoping someone could give me a name of an online pharmacy for T3 Cytomel? I've been looking but cannot find a trusted site. Thanks so much.

Are you sure you are being correctly medicated at the moment ? Before taking T3 there are many things that need to be in place. For example have you had tests for the following ? - B12 - Folate - Ferritin - VitD ? Thyroid hormones do not work well in the body if they are low in range.
Do you have any results with ranges you could post - maybe there is something members could suggest to help you. How much levo are you taking ?
I am not anti-T3 - as I take it myself - but from reading this forum for years - I can see that it is not easy without the correct foundations in place .....
Thanks a million. I'm on 150 mg eltroxin. I was low on vit D and iron but have been taking that. I'll get a copy of my blood tests from my doc & post it. I had so much trouble with my doctor. He finally agreed to do the t3 tests and said they were low and continued to tell me that he is going to up my eltroxin. Personally, I don't think this makes sense but he won't listen to me. Thank u for taking the time to reply.
If you are in UK and GP can't or won't do full testing
Essential to test FT3, antibodies and vitamins before starting T3
For full evaluation you ideally need TSH, FT4, FT3, TT4, TPO and TG antibodies, plus vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested
See if you can get full thyroid and vitamin testing from GP. Unlikely to get FT3
Private tests are available

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.
All thyroid tests should be done as early as possible in morning and fasting and don't take Levo in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results

Some possible causes of persistent symptoms in euthyroid patients on L-T4
You will see low vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 listed
Irenecon,
If you post your recent TSH, FT4 and FT3 results and ranges members will advise whether adding T3 may be beneficial and whether you need to reduce Levothyroxine dose at the same time.
Thank u. I will ask my doc for a copy. I'm just feeling so awful & run down lately. I take magnesium, zinc, sellinium, B complex, iron & vit D. I've only added the zinc & magnesium last week but still no change in symptoms. I also have an achy head, swollen tounge, fatigue & dry pale skin.
Irenekittyboo,
If you've had blood tests for ferritin, vitamin D, B12, folate and full blood count post those results and ranges too and members will advise.
Thank u all. I'm so grateful.
