Who had their Amalgam removed?

Was it worth it? Protocol used, any complications? I have 8 of them in my mouth. Suffer from chronic fatigue, thyroid issues and a list of other stuff.

I had a few removed due to work needed on the teeth. I have 5 very old ones left and dating back to 40 years ago. My dentist said best not to disturb them if they are not causing any problems. I felt better only when my thyroid levels became optimal along with correcting all deficiencies in the book, plus giving up gluten.

I had this conversation yesterday with my dentist. His view was leave well alone, as disturbing an old filling can result in problems and eventual loss of the tooth. I know this to be true. One of the members of this site with whom I correspond privately, had all her amalgams out, hoping to improve her health. One tooth became infected and had to be extracted. Her overall health has not improved. Do not go there.
