Reikimaster,

Wilson's Temperature Syndrome is not medically recognised. Denis Wilson was struck off after one of his patients died of a heart attack after following his protocol of using high doses of T3 to treat the 'syndrome'.

Just to say, after 27 years of hypothyroidism, I took a huge dip In health and always constantly freezing and very low blood pressure. Thankfully 2 years on I am close to low range normal in both temp and blood pressure,. I really looked after myself going gluten and dairy free, a lot of chicken broth, guided mediation on u tube, good supplements, daily outdoor gentle walking. I feel this is a big health step on my journey to feeling normal one day.

Thank you for bringing up this subject , just rereading some websites, it is really interesting, I am trying to be prescribed t3, as a specialist has recommended it, but no luck with NHS. My children all have coldness and abnormal tiredness, I come from the west of Ireland , their blood show no thyroid problem but there is a health problem for sure. It is all such a maze with these health issues! Thank you again

Correcting hypothyroid symptoms requires correcting low body temperature

I think this is the wrong way round. I think it should say :

"Correcting hypothyroid symptoms may correct low body temperature"

Based on anecdotal information from this and other forums and sources, there are people whose basal temperature returns to normal when their treatment is optimised and all other effects of hypothyroidism that they suffered have been corrected.

But there is other anecdotal info that suggests some people never improve their basal temperature. These are often the long-term untreated or under-treated who appear on thyroid forums in large numbers.

It's been copied & pasted from a Google search I thought it would raise some interest .
