Does any one on here have both of these conditions diagnosed??
I was diagnosed with hashimotos thyroiditis 3 years ago but been bombarded with numerous symptoms all over my body mainly pain. For this last year!theve ruled out ms as neurological exam was ok but suggested a rheumatologist looks in to fibromyalgia !
Many thanks

Can you post your recent thyroid results and ranges? If you are undermedicated that will cause fibro type pain. If you have ferritin, vitamin d, B12 and folate results post them too.
Reading your post of a month ago I see you are very LOW in VitD. Have you treated this deficiency ? Being that low will cause all sorts of aches and pains.
Please always obtain copies of your test results with ranges - it makes answering your questions a little easier - otherwise we are shooting in the dark ....
Are you gluten free - to help reduce anti-bodies ?
Ranges ? Have posted your previous post with results in the link above. I am two hours ahead of UK - so am off to the land of nod ! Good advice as always by SeasideSusie in the earlier thread.
Hi, i was referred to a rheumatologist 6 months ago as I had a lot of pain in my bones and bumps appearing on my fingers joints. At that appointment I was told I did not have rheumatoid arthritis, possibly osteo-arthritis and fibromyalgia as touching of skin all over body hurt (not excessively I must add). Bloods were done and I had a follow up appointment last week and was told my bloods showed a positive antibody for rheumatoid arthritis but fibromyalgia was not mentioned and with a foggy brain I forgot. I go back in February so will mention this again and question underactive thyroid and if there is any link. I was diagnosed 10 years ago with hashimotos thyroiditis and been on 100mcg of levothyroxine for a few years now. I will make sure to write down so I dont forget. It is well worth requesting a referral to rheumatologist in my opinion with your current symptoms. Best wishes
