I had not realised some versions may be more helpful than others so will shop more carefully next time at super market.
Danielj1,
With my name, helvella [1], I am sorry but I'm going to have to be extremely picky and pedantic.
Fungi, including mushrooms are a separate kingdom of life - they (we?) are not vegetables.
A fungus (plural: fungi[3] or funguses[4]) is any member of the group of eukaryotic organisms that includes microorganisms such as yeasts and molds, as well as the more familiar mushrooms. These organisms are classified as a kingdom, Fungi, which is separate from the other eukaryotic life kingdoms of plants and animals.
(Posted in the spirit of amusement - if my name here didn't mean what it does, I wouldn't have said anything.)

Still packed in vitamins though😉
Very interesting indeed. I’ll be including them more in my diet from now on after reading that. I enjoy them anyway.
Thanks for that info. Danielj1.

Lions main a Chinese mushroom is very good for the brain. Here in France we eat chicken of the wood and steak of the wood they both grow on trees. i.e. fungi.
I meant to say Lion's Mane of course. Correction.
The mushroom Lion's Mane is very good for the brain. Only in tablet form it's easier to obtain. I am already a convert as my parents ran a wholesale fruit and veg company for over 40 years.
