Has anyone on here had their thyroid removed due to kidney cancer and getting Opdivo treatments. My TSH keeps going up and down with my treatments any suggestions?

Can you give us more information of when and how you were diagnosed. Some bloods along the way and what medication you are on as if will help to get an overall picture.
What are Opdivo treatments?
This drug Opdivo is usually for the treatment of Kidney Cancer I don't know anything about using it to treat thyroid problems. Ask you doctor that could be the way forward.
I can't imagine anyone having their thyroid removed for no good reason when it's a kidney problem?

There is, potentially, a very good reason. Metastasis of renal cell carcinoma to the thyroid:

High or low kidney function can affect thyroid hormone levels. How is your kidney function now? Is it stable? Are you on dialysis?
I sincerely hope they are not relying on TSH only? In my opinion, you really need FT4 and FT3 tests.
Well thank you for the information I had my sister who was on that newish medication but I did't know about thyroid relationship.
