I have been a heavy drinker for many years. Here is my dilemma. I have been using clorox wipes for years and years without gloves..Three days ago I noticed the palms of my hands very red and the tips of my fingers. It looks like red palm, but I am no longer using Clorox wipes for two days and the redness is going away. My blood test last year is fine. Needless to say. I gave up drinking. The parts that were red burned a little when my hands sweats. I don't know if I have red palm or not because I have been using the wipes for years.

Red Palms and Clorox Wipes.
Booger1,
My endo was going to send me for liver function tests when she first noticed my red palms until I told her LFT was normal a year before and I'd had red palms all my life. If the redness is fading it was likely a reaction to Clorox.

Thanks, I have my physical in January and will get the regular blood tests. I appreciate you response. My finger tips a were red too and again. I used them to wipe my fingers for a few years. How stupid was I.
My Father had red palms from Pernicious anemia, it's a symptom of B12 deficiency.
I went and had blood tests today. It appears to be a Vitamin B12 deficiency. I started taking Vitamin B 50 yesterday and my hands are clearing up very quickly. I have an ultrasound tomorrow and I will get my blood results back too. I have learned a very valuable lesson with all reading I have done. I scared me sober.
Hi Everyone, I had a full liver blood work done yesterday (Hepatic Function Panel) along with a slew of others and it all came back great! I have a ultrasound tomorrow just to be sure. I am very thankful.
