First time posting.....I've been hypothyroid for 20 years and been on 150mcg of Levothyroxine for many of these. I recently switched to taking it at night and now my GP says I'm thyrotoxic and need to reduce the meds. I feel better than I have in years but may also be because I've lost 25lbs in weight (purposefully!😀) and don't really want anything to change and defininately don't want to feel worse! The results are: Free T4 24.6 (range 12 -22), Free triiodothyronine 5.3 (3.1-6.8) TSH 0.01 (0.27-4.2)

I think you might be able to reduce to 125 mcg without noticing a difference, or perhaps alternate on 125 and 150. When your fT4 goes high you tend to produce 'reverse T3' which is counter-productive. Give it a try and if it doesn't work you can go back to 150.
RT3 is a balance for T3. Like two hands a left and a right or gas peddle and brake. If Rt3 is too high it's not good and slows you down and causes overweight too.
Is free triiodothyronine T3 or RT3? The score 5.3 is within the normal range 3.1-6.8. My guess would be that T3 becomes reverse when the scores are above normal range or have I still misunderstood?
Same thing happened to me once I swapped to taking it at night. Your GP is freaking out over the suppressed TSH and slightly high T4 but T3 is good and still in range so if you feel well don't change anything.
PS as Jimh111 says you can try a lower dose, I dropped to 125 but went downhill within a couple of weeks, I have now added 150 twice a week.
