My endocrinologist said he would prescribe T3 for me, that was 2 weeks ago I phoned my GP yesterday and He still hasn't heard from endocrinologist, how long should it take and does the health board have to OK it? I live in Scotland.

Call Endo Secretary and chase it up with her.
You should also get a copy yourself.
I was waiting about three weeks for my copy of the letter. I wasn't in a hurry so didn't chase but if I was I would call my consultant secretary.
