Nature thyroid increase

Hi all, started on Nature Thyroid ( NT) on Nov 2nd. half grain for 4 days, then increased to 1 grain for 2 weeks, now on 1.5 grain for 7 days. Very little difference in how I felt prior to starting eg, tired, poor motivation, poor sleep, brain fog. New symptoms, low blood pressure, temperature also getting lower and a weird feeling of not sure how to describe it - like anxiety or palpitations near my thyroid! But when I've checked pulse it's normal.

Should I stay on the 1.5 grains for another while and wait for improvement? Prior to starting on NT i was on 75 micrograms of Eltroxin with no improvement at all. Thanks. Anna.

75mcg Eltroxin is roughly equivalent 1 grain NDT.

I would wait another week before increasing to 2 grains and hold at 2 grains for 6-8 weeks and have a thyroid test including FT3 before increasing further.

Thanks so much Clutter for that very useful information. It certainly explains how and why to increase doses in a very clear, easy to understand manner. I will do as you suggest. Anna
