Today I got good news saw my go she to!d me my bloods were perfect.I've been suffering graves for sometime.can anybody tell me does this mean I'm cured and won't ever suffer again with. Thyroid problems again or can the symptoms return at a later date..thankyou

Just to check we're talking about the same thing, those perfect results are after you've weaned off Carbimazole?

They’ll probably keep you on a low dose of Carbimazole (if on titration), or a higher dose of carbi alongside levo (if on block and replace) until you’ve been on it for twelve to eighteen months in all. Then you stop the treatment, and see what happens. You’ll continue regular blood tests while on treatment, then once or twice a year for the foreseeable future, as there is always a risk of relapse.

Enough of me. How areyou luv ?did you get sorted by endo appointment .I suppose that's silly question.but I was hopei ng U got somewhere. What a time of year time. To feel. Crap

Hi there my endo app was cancelled so now its the 2nd jan, my latest bloids are showing ive hit hypo now, i have titrated my carbi dose down to 3.75 until i speak to endo on the phone, endo may start me on a 2.5 dose of carbi or go on thyroxine? But feel crap like you.

Have you thought about going to get your bloods done again to see if things have worsened? You may have to restart carbi-are you showing hyper symptons. Go and get your bloods done. Sorry to hear your fibro myalgia is playing up thats painful, i have a cousin who has that and she has given up work now as couldnt cope with working and being in pain all the time, again its another auto immune disease to go with your graves, can we push for a 3rd one trophygirl- i have 2 hashi and celiac.x

Ho Rmichelle that's awful.they don't care these endo I could. call them a name but I'd get banned u no what I mean ?what a struggle for u luv more so when you've got your young daughter to look after to.how can u possibley expecet a young person to really understand how mum feels.I have an app next week I'll get my bloods done Monday.take care lol xx

They dont care how you feel young or old we all matter, i keep my chin up and get on with it. My daughter is 12 and understands what its about she is very tough little lady like her mum. Good luck with your endo appointment, when we go we always look forward tothat appointment but thinking about it i dont know why we bother-ha we dont gain anything usually apart from a load of crap talking from endo. Blah blah!!😠

DEFLATED WASTE OF TIME.lol. i did put out a new post yesterday, have a read of it and see what you think but i am on 2.5 mgs now to try and level out my bloods, i had the priviledge of seeing 2 endos who were equally as useless as one another trophygirl, how nice of you to remember and i trust you are feeling little better?.😊x

You can relapse at any time in the future, I was "cured" for about 30 years then it came back with a vengeance.
