Hi I'm new. I had a cortisone shot in my foot 6 days ago. The skin on my face became so rough and dry, just like sand-paper. Could the cortisone injection have affected my thyroid to cause this condition? and will it go away in a period of time?

ManuelaSampaioCovini,
Some members have found that cortisone injections can elevate FT4 and FT3 and suppress TSH for a couple of weeks. However, my sister had a cortisone injection a few months ago and it didn't affect her thyroid.
