Good advice given on your thread of 15 days ago. Have another read and click onto the links people posted for you. Hope you feel better soon ....

B12 - Folate - Ferritin - VitD - do you have results ? Great advice from humanbean in your last post - and no response. Please read again 😊

I got my first panic attack from eating. I was really full and I couldn't breathe then I had one 😂 I wonder if that's a hashimoto flare

Yes, I do terribly during a flare.....As you Thyroid is being attacked by the antibodies it dumps loads of thyroid hormone in to your body but it will settle

Any idea how long it takes to go? I get these every couple of months!

I use to have them for very long periods up to 8 weeks and it was so bad I would have to take valium to calm me as I was climbing the walls - I thought I was going crazy, then they lessened and lessened and I now get a severe one every 4-5 months for just a day or 2 but a flare without chaos every couple of months....But it defo lessens

Mine has been 3-4 years 🤔 Are you on thyroid meds? I've finally got a low trial.

Thank you so much for your reply! Makes me feel so much better knowing I am not the only one going through this, but I hate it that you're having to suffer as well.

How do You know for sure that IT is a flare? Do You had blood test these days?

Yes. I had TPO antibodies for the first time since having hypothyroidism.

I mean ft3, ft4 wich should be high or over range in this case.

I always had antibodies but never ft4, ft3 high or over range and had my tests every 2-3 months

Well, is the first time I've had antibodies and have had all of the classic symptoms of a flare, according to what I have been reading even on this website.

Yes they used to scare the pants off me when just first diagnosed in july but i just think now - get on with it. No point in worrying. Still early days for me.xx

Still early days for me too. Have been hypothyroid for a year-and-a-half but just tested positive for TPO antibodies. So the flare-ups are very new and very scary

You see im hyper with hashis so sort of used to the palps with being hyper, ive had around 4 ecgs whist diagnosis and all times heart is fine, it can also been a sign that i havent rested enough. Dont be frightened. Just try and let them pass. Nit pleasant though, i feel like ive run for a bus.😕❤

Zinc seems to knock these out completely needs to be top quality chelated zinc with copper

Perhaps we are all different ...

Thanks for the suggestion!! What mgs do you recommend??

I am no expert - I simply went through every vitamin and mineral noted on the web as relevant for this and bought top quality chelated version in standard RDA

Perhaps I was really lucky - selenium / B/ C helped a lot but nothing like as much as zinc it was astonishing really given I had take them in very cheap oxide form in cheap multi mins for many years - I now understand only a very tiny percentage gets absorbed

D helped a lot too...

We are all different - I took magnesium a year ago and it did not a lot but some say it is essential - I will restart and see
