I am on levo I take this at night. I am also in iron tablets x3 a day. Just started b12 injections (trial dose) so now I am starting folate which I was prescribed.
Wanting to start taking a multivitamin but not sure when to take what?
Hidden Forget multivitamins, they contain not enough of anything to help and usually use the cheapest and least absorbable form of ingredients. Test and supplement where needed.
B12 and folate, also iron, are taken care of. You need Vit D testing. If not already done then you can get a fingerprick bloodspot test from City Assays vitamindtest.org.uk/
You need a good B Complex to balance all the B vitamins, plus Vit C (usually advised is minimum 2000mg daily) will help support adrenals. Selenium is a good supplement for us hypos as it helps T4 to T3 conversion (and if you have Hashi's it can help reduce antibodies).
Thorne Basic B would be my preference. Avoid any that contain 'folic acid', it should be methylfolate, and 'cyanocobalamin', it should be methylcobalamin. I would also stay away from any that contain more than 10mg B6, and those that are B50, B100, etc where virtually all the amounts are the same.
Iron tablets 4 hours away from Levo and 2 hours away from any other supplements or medication as it affects absorption.
B vitamins - no later than lunchtime as they can be stimulating and could cause sleep disturbance.
D3, if needed, with the fattiest meal of the day (or some kind of dietary fat), 4 hours away from Levo. If you get that tested, post the result on the forum for suggestions for dose of supplement.
Vit C in divided doses throughout the day, take each iron tablet with 1000mg Vit C to aid absorption and help prevent constipation.
