Davidkauf1,

If you can feel a lump you should make an appointment for your GP to palpate your throat and neck. If GP detects a lump s/he should arrange an ultrasound scan to investigate whether you have a thyroid goitre or nodule.

It's a lump that if I read it expands and chocks me out and I have a seisure

Otherwise I just look like an average everyday person

How long did that take to appear? If I am looking at the right thing it makes you look as though you have a double chin. It's a bit high up for a thyroid goitre.

I can tense it out or keep it normal and I look like an everyday person and like when I read it starts twitching and after a few mins of reading it twitches out and just expands and makes me have a seisure

That sounds serious, I haven't heard anyone on this forum having seizures. I think it might not be a thyroid problem, it might be something else. Do you have thyroid symptoms? You will find lists of hyper and hypo symptoms on this site. Have you had any thyroid blood tests? I know a few people who have epilepsy and none of them have a lump in their neck like yours. I can understand that you don't want to be diagnosed with epilepsy because it means you can't drive until you have had a couple of years without a fit. However if you are developing some strange form of epilepsy it needs sorting out as soon as possible. Hopefully your doctor will refer you to the right specialist as soon as possible.

Muscle tightening is a symptom of reading epilepsy so that could be your problem.
