Good evening..received my results back for my thyroid T4 is .65..(.60-1.12) and TSH is 14.44.. (.34-5.60) Dr changed my meds from synthroid 75mcg to 88mcg. I have always been on synthroid. Should I try a new med? I've been hypo now for 6 years. Thanks for all the help.

No, you should change your doctor! Taking only 88 mcg Synthroid with a TSH of 14.44, is utterly rediculous. Your doctor has no idea what he's doing.

Thank you! I needed to hear that. I just wasn’t sure if she was doing what was right for me.

Agree 100% with greygoose. With a TSH of 14 I would be in a coma. A TSH of 1.5 renders me unable to walk. Get another doc ASAP.
