How many hours after taking your levo/lio was it before you had your blood test? Jut trying to gauge how much was freshly in your blood at the time of your blood being taken.

Levo 24 hours

T3 12 hours

Blood test fasting and done at 9am

Thankyou

Right, thank you! :)

Well, some people do need to have slightly overrange FT4 to feel well. Yours is only slightly above range anyway.

I'd resist a reduction in dose, that's for sure.

How are you feeling on that dose?

OK, so I think we can rule out "overmedicated". :)

Do you think your doctor would be amenable to a raise in liothyronine?

Also, have you ever had Vit B12, folate, ferritin and Vit D tested? I'm thinking you might have low levels of some or all of those, which won't be helping at all.

Thankyou endo is planning to stop the T3. Vits and mins tested last month and I supplement but feel no different on what I take

Oh dear. I think that's a very bad idea. And if you can demonstrate it's needed, he shouldn't be taking you off it because of its cost.

Why should you be a guinea pig just to save them money? What price your health?

See if you can get hold of those vits and mins test results. Just as with thyroid results, "in range" often doesn't mean "good" - far from it.

And hand your doctor a copy of this:

Can you post your vitamin results with their ranges. Often doctors think that if you are in range then you are fine but like thyroid meds it's where in the range that is important. Also even those that realise you need supplements only recommend the minimum which may be far short for you.
