Help again please

Had some good advice of this forum.but I'm still lost.had bloods done on 9 Oct rang endo told me to stop carbimazole as its showing low t3 said I've gone from hyper to hypo got a letter from him yesterdayp to have my bloods repeated in3weeks no print out sent. Mean while saw a locum Dr on Monday told her that I feel dreadful y unwell very weak etc she sent me for some more bloods to check. all vitamin levels .fortunately I see y own Dr tomorrow. Is there anything more I should be asking her . iam so weak I feel as if the plugs been pulled and my life's blood is draining away..its took all my strength to compose this Thankyou x

Make sure to get actual results and ranges tomorrow. Ask for thyroid antibodies, TSH, FT4 and FT3 to be tested, plus vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Ask if TSI antibodies have been tested to confirm Graves' disease

Poor you, ive started carbi titration, reducing the dose, and dreading it really. Should you be starting hypo meds then? Good luck.x

Its no win situation with docs they are not intetested in our well being just their bloods numbers on levels. My endo wouldnt do tsi test for me but i do have hashimotos. Let us know how you get on.xx

Hiya trophygirl if its any consolation i to am resting in bed as started titration and feeling rubbish, palps breathless, weak and exhausted with muscle aches. We can be miserable together. Ha. I know its a pain but everyone will say you need them printouts for your own records and for on this site because the people on here will give you so much help. You need to have optinum levels thats right for you not just clinically in range. I think they dont want you to have them copies of bloods but you are entitled to them under the data protection act. I mean what is their problem!! Have you got appointment yet for endo? I waited 2half months for mine and they cancelled once. 😠hope you get a good endo. Mine useless and arrogant. Poor you with a chest infection aswell.im only 47 but feel like 87. Ha.

Hi againRmichelle sorry your unwell too.your only young to be suffering like this .I'm nearly 20yrs older and I've had an hectic life I call this pay back time for working hard and playing hard icannot begin to imagine at your age what it would have been like to be so I'll. See endo in DEC take care well rest together x

Hi trophygirl glad 2 hearthat you are on the mend now but yes know how you feel with rhyroid, i gave my better days and bad days, been to birmingham nec supreme cat show today and shopping in birmingham so i have well over done it today and will most likley suffer tomorrow. I am exhausted😴, yes keep fighting and dont let it grind us down.xxxxxtaje care and keep in touch.😊
