I have been self medicating NDT for year , feeling pretty good . DR not happy wants me to see an endo . I know I will be told to go back to Levo !! I live in Wiltshire could I see an endo Out of the county who might be more sympathetic and not cause a big problem with my Dr ! Thanks Val

First, I am glad you feel good on your choice of thyroid hormones. If you email louise.roberts@thyroiduk.org.uk who has a list of sympathetic doctors, one whom may be near you. The British Thyroid Association has made False Statements about NDT and despite Dr Lowe sending three yearly requests for a response to his article before his untimely death, never did get a response.

Most of the conventionally trained doctors know nothing about NDT, except been told it is inconsistent in its ingredients and levo is the preferred prescription. Many on this forum have improved immensely when they've started NDT.
Also worth asking on here for posters in England to PM you if they have seen an endo who "ignores" the fact they are taking NDT.
Hi there i saw a endo out of area, my theory was to take the one with the lesser waiting times, had to go on short train journey but will be swapping endos as mine was very rude.x good luck
