Can anyone PM any ligit online pharmacy that I can order T3 from? I'm struggling with T4 and I would like to give it a try.

I would really appreciate your help.

Can you give some background info on when you were diagnosed, how much T4 you currently take, recent blood test results.

So members can see if you are on optimal dose of T4 and offer advice

Also.....Do you have Hashimoto's (high antibodies) , if so are you gluten free

Plus have you had your vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 checked and supplementing if required

All these can improve conversion first.

Thanks for your reply. I'm currently on levothyroxin 100mcg...I was diagnosed with Hashi in 2015. Since then, I have never felt good even with T4:/

I suffer from severe forgetfulness, brain fog, depression, laziness, weight gain, hair loss, and you name it!

I even forgot my old self and can't remember how I was feeling:( when I read some researches and projects that I have done before, I feel that those are amazing and have been done by someone else not me.

I can't say I'm 100% gf, however, I do my best to avoid gluten (let's say 70% gf)

My last lab results done on Aug 6th, 2017, are as follows:

TSH: 2.670 mlU/L (0.27-4.2)

TPO: 109.99 IU/mL

T3: 3.99 pmol/L (3.1-6.8)

Reverse T3: 0.62 ug/L (0.09-0.35)

T4: 19.39 pmol/L (12-22)

Vit D: 60.3 nmol/L (50-150)

I thought I would try T3 along with my T4

Thanks!

Sorry gluten free only works if it's 100% each time we eat gluten it can take immune system 6 months to recover

Looking at your results your vitamin D is likely too low, see SeasideSusie detailed vitamin advice

What about ferritin, folate and B12

Very likely these are low

Low stomach acid is extremely common, this can cause candida in gut which can be linked to forgetfulness

Gluten is also implicated in poor brain function. I have noticed a slow but steady improvement, no longer forgetting so many words

Your TSH is likely too high, most need it around one or less

You could try to persuade GP to try increase in Levo

Your FT3 is low. But you need to get vitamins checked and treated FIRST and gluten too

Do you also avoid all soya including soya lecithin if at all possible. Soya is not good for thyroid

Plus cutting out flouride- eg changing to fluoride free toothpaste
