Hi Manuel,

Did the Dr start you on any medication or refer to an endocrinologist?

I hate the brain fog - my forgetfulness was one of the first signs that made me think the Graves' disease had returned.

Hi, no he just told me to cut down on T3, nothing about TSH or bottom line for Vit D. I'm going to have to sort this out when I'm less addled. Unexpected results cause stress, I think I have Adrenal fatigue.

You are overmedicated so you need to reduce your dose as your GP has said.

No just told me to take less t3.

I've been trying to self medicate but until I found this site I had no idea that Bits played such an important part.

I was low on Bit D some time ago and the Endo prescribed me VitD I felt brilliant. I'm diabetic as well so its like double brain fog on times.

I've seen myself getting into a state in June over a Hosp. App in November, I was that exhausted.

I'm improving, I get a few good days then like today knackered. I also get wiped out if I spend a day in the City with all the air pollution.

I do intend going back to see him next week to sort this out. I'm just looking for more advice, he's hardly an expert though he is the most attentive GP I've had.

Half hour appointments are nothing, it does cause a gridlock though :-)

What dose are you taking?

Im taking 3pills of Nature-Throid after taking Thiroyd for about a year, I've never felt really healthy though, I was on 100mcg of Thyroxine but never thought they were doing me much good.

I thought the reason was an inability to use T3 so I bought some generic T3 after my GP gave me a prescription.

Looking back now the only time I've felt Ok was when a specialist told me I was Vit D deficient and I felt great for a while.

After reading articles on here I began to suspect my adrenal glands and have been supplementing with Ashwaghanda and Cortibol with some success.

I have to go back and see him though as my wife had to go and see him for me this time.

My Vit D level is rock bottom again and there's no mention of the B12 test I asked for.

The generic t3 I bought, I only took 2pills in chopped up pieces different times then put them away as they didn't suit me, I didn't think 2pills over time would make a difference.

Not what you're looking for?
