They're all in range and seem fine.

Hi guys I finally had my bloods done again after sickness and severe headache earlier in the week just had results back, and they’re telling me they’re normal 😐

I have asked to see them, and I have a phone consultation tomorrow with them the doctor and I’ll be able to pick them after that.

I’m now at a loss. I’m wondering if the actual problem is stress/ anxiety . I do have a history of depression.

When you have your results - do start a new post/thread as they will be missed here. I only found your last post here as I had been reading your post on another forum !!

thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_...

Please click onto the above link to read the signs and symptoms of low thyroid where you will see anxiety and panic listed :-)

When you are told normal - they mean in range - it depends where in range your results are. Also I doubt the FULL Thyroid Profile was done - TSH - FT4 - FT3 and the anti-bodies TPO & Tg.

Also B12 - folate - Ferritin - VitD should be OPTIMAL in range and not bumping along the bottom !

Thanks Marz. I did wonder if I needed to start a new post!

Doctor is ringing about my results today and then I can pick them to see the levels myself so will post again when I know more

Don't forget the ranges too - as labs do vary around the country :-) You could Tag me so I see them - if not others here will help.

Thanks Marz I’m just writing some notes as I have a phone consultations and will be talking to Dr before having seen my latest results. I’ve made a note to as specifically what my Vit B12 levels are and what is their normal range.

Also my FSH and LH levels as the last time they were in range but not 1:1 ratio (8.4 and 3.4)

Do you think there is anything else I need to ask specifically ?

Have listed the Vitamins and Minerals in my reply above - B12 - Folate ( they work together in the body ) - Ferritin and VitD. They all need to be OPTIMAL. Have also listed the Thyroid Tests above that are needed :-)

Do NOT accept Normal from your GP - that is an opinion and NOT a result.

Sorry do not know a lot about FSH and LH levels - radd is very good with hormones ....

UandE, LFT, BONE profile. FBC, CRP ESR HBAK TFT FSH LH

As far as Thyroid is concerned that will mean only the TSH and possibly the FT4 - unless your Doc and the Lab have a good realationship and your GP has insisted on the FULL Thyroid Profile. Rarely done and I have been on this Forum for six years :-(

TFT = Thyroid Function Test - so the only test directly related to the Thyroid.
