I have been on 100mcg T4 and 20mcg T3 for a long time, although the GP no longer wants to prescribe T3 due to CCG etc. I decided to pay for testing my TSH, T4 and T3.
I would be very grateful for anyone's opinions as I don't understand why my FT4 is so low when the TSH is almost suppressed. Many thanks.
TSH 0.084 mIU/L - range 0.27 - 4.20
FT4 11.6 pmol/L - range 12.00 - 22.00
FT3 5.74 pmol/L - range 3.10 - 6.80
Many thanks in advance!

Your results are good. TSH mildly suppressed and FT3 in the upper third of range. FT4 is low because you are taking T3 direct and your FT3 is good so there is no need for high levels of T4 to be stored.
Thank you Clutter for that clear explanation. It's sad that the notes by the Medichecks doctor with the results told me the results indicated I was becoming overactive and should see my GP to discuss reducing my dose. Obviously will not do so.
